Vada Pav

Preperation Time -20 Min

Cooking Time- 10 Min

Ingredients:

Boiled Potato- 3 medium size

Chopped Onion - 1

Garlic - 4 Petals

Ginger Paste -1 Tsp

Cummin seed pow- 1 Tsp\

Karri Leaves -3-4

Choped Coriander -  1/4 Bowl

Dhania Powder - 1tsp

Green chilies - 6-7

Red chilli Powder - 1 Tsp

Turmeric powder- 1/2 Tsp

Goda Masala- ( I used Ambari goda masala)

Besan- 1/2 Bowl

Oil- For deep fry

Salt - As per Taste

Method:

In mixer pot add Karry leaves, Garlic, cummin, dhania powder, 2 Green Chilles & Ginger to make proper blend.

Peel the potatoes. Smash it.

In pan take 2 tsp oil when it heated add chopped onion. When it transpernt add mixture. Stirrer till it cook well & get brown shade. Now add turmeric powder, Goda Masala & red chillies powder. Mix well.

Now Add potatoes & mix well

Now in another pan add oil for deep fry.

In besan bowl add 1/2 tsp Salt & 1 tsp hot oil. Add some water & blend it well & make thick liquid.

Now make ball of potato , press in palm add in besan liquid. Now fry it well.

Now your vada is ready. In that oil also fry remaining chillies

serve it with pav , Chillies & coconut chutney.

  3. Last week I was travelling and had to stay few days in Pune, I was fedup of eating out so thought of cooking something on my own, I refered your "Veg Pulav- Low fat" recepie and was almost there.... It was a good begining... Thanks Sharayu !!

    And how are things there??? You must have learned lots of new local recepies.. lets have all of them here..
